Love love LOVED this! I was so on side for Suzanne, which is maybe a bit of a worry. Would love to read the rest in the collection.

Thanks so much! The other stories are all quite different, I think - but all take place in this same world, with the house on the Moon. The collection is available to buy!

WOW, Georgina, that was amazing! I didn’t see it coming, but then I was “of course “! Gave me Patricia Highsmith vibes only modern. Wonderful!💕

I really liked this story and this book. Everyone should buy it even though they won't be lucky enough to get a filthy inscription from the author as I did.

This was incredible! One of the most affecting short stories I’ve read in a long time. I normally gravitate towards stories with a humorous bent so it’s really refreshing to read something “straight” that packs such a powerful punch. Will definitely check out the rest of the collection too.

OK, I won't try to be clever either, so I will just say it raw. I normally don't like tragic endings, though the truth is that I don't like tragedies at all. However, wasn't it a tragedy that Suzanne was leaving every day before her solo vacation? Isn't it a tragedy that all other Suzannes in the world are living? And am I also not so eager to have some time in solitude and peace? This story was freaking awesome! It hooked me from start to end but also made me think about the cage that married life could become; it made me think of many things while keeping me entertained. You said this is a book full of other short stories?

Thanks Luis! Glad you saw so much in it :) Yes, it's a small collection - all the stories are set in the same world, I.e. our world, except a house has mysteriously appeared on the Moon, and it's affecting people in different and scary ways. I don't know if you'd enjoy any of the other stories, but if you want to try, you can definitely find the book either on amazon or through the publisher, Black Shuck Books.

Thanks so much. Found it, and bought it. This is the third book from a Substack fellow I acquired. It's becoming a thing to me, without really planning it. Thanks again, the concept is terrific.

Yeah—I did not see that coming. (I totally empathize with her and her rock.)

I like the way all this happened with the house being just a fragrant character.
